How It Works
Unlike conventional methods that rely on heat or froth flotation, Orivium uses a breakthrough electrowinning process with recyclable “super oxidizers” to precipitate metals from source material at ambient temperatures.
One use case? Inability to access the payload from copper sulphide ores means that 80% of the world’s copper supply, and the attendant revenue, is left on the table. Orivium unlocks access by radically improving the economics.
Tailing ponds? Mining companies have set aside hectares of prime real estate for waste storage. Our technology extracts the heavy metals and detoxifies the land turning tailing ponds from a waste stream and a liability into a value stream.
